Owens has added an extra deadbolt door latch for safety. They heard of a dog pushing the latch until the door opened and then the dog jumped out of the moving truck and was killed. This turn bolt lock is just below the regular door latch. All doors and the storage area locks are keyed alike. Also, all boxes comes with winter door inserts, and outside walls are insulated with thin corro-plast panels. There are closable vents on each side wall and interior walls have holes for cross ventilation. Total aluminum construction with NO wood to rot.

I prevent my box from moving by using simple 4" turnbuckles hooked from the carry handles to underneath the truck beds side rails.
