I began a search quite awhile back for the ideal, at least in my opinion, stud male to anchor my breeding program. This dog needed to be AKC registered, Bluetick, possess an excellent nose that got the job done in a variety of weather conditions and terrains, had brains and desire to work a check the proper way, had stamina to hang in there as long as asked, had a pedigree to be proud of, and had the small frame I wanted to reproduce. There may be many dogs such as this around, but finding one for sale was quite a chore. I was finally successful in my search. I traveled to southern Tennessee, 900 miles round trip, and watched a dog hunt that I felt fulfilled my search prerogatives. RNR Blueberry Bill is the hound I purchased and brought to Indiana.

Bill is a compact 12" male with a bawl mouth and a ton of hunt and heart. Quiet and well mannered at the kennel, he "turn's on" in the brush. His pedigree reigns supreme with RNR Joe Blue, FC Flatlands Cody, FC Flat Creek Blake, the Canoe Creek bloodlines, FC Round Pond Bobby, Hank's Jo Jo Blue, and many others. His Mother, Grand Mother, Great Grand Mother, and Great-great Grandmother were all fantastic 12" bluetick females. We plan on doing some selective breeding with Bill and our best bluetick females in the years to come. |

Rock is a cornerstone on our breeding program. He started
running his own rabbits at 5 months and has finished our very
well. His pedigree includes Cherokee Little Brave Heart, Grubb's
Hill Top Bad Eye, Grubb's Tornado, Hank's Jo Jo Blue (10 times
in 7 generations), FC Del Ray Stubby (6 times) and many other
outstanding dogs. Rock is 12" tall.
